أنا وسيم وهيدي قصّتي كتاب مصوّر مستوحى من قصص واقعية لأطفال تعرضوا للعنف الجسدي وتواصلوا مع فريق حماية للحصول على الدعم . تروي القصة معاناة وسيم الذي يواجه صعوبات في المدرسة وتوترًا في المنزل، ما يؤدي إلى معاقبته وإحساسه بالحزن. من خلال دعم معلمته واختصاصيي الحماية، يتعلّم وسيم أن العنف، حتى لو صدر عن أشخاص يحبهم، يبقى مؤذيًا وغير مقبول. يسلّط الكتاب الضوء على حق الأطفال في الحماية من العنف، أهمية التواصل داخل العائلة، ودور القوانين والخدمات المتخصصة في ضمان أمانهم.

 

I Am Wassim and This Is My Story is an illustrated book inspired by real cases of children exposed to physical violence and who reached out to Himaya’s protection team . The story follows Wassim, who struggles with mistakes at school and tension at home, leading to punishment and sadness. With the help of a teacher and child protection specialists, Wassim learns that violence, even when it comes from loved ones, is harmful and not acceptable. The book highlights the right of children to be protected from violence, the importance of open communication within families, and the role of laws and specialised services in ensuring children’s safety.
